I always wonder if I am weird. Take for instance this instance: Whenever I see the word 'Cheers', I hear a cheering crowd in my head. Which gets a little bit inconvenient, because in the UK (and increasingly in SG) where people sign off or bid farewell in this manner, the cheers and whistles in my head just seem a bit in-apt. Then I want to giggle.

Why do people say cheers? Cheers is to salute with shouts of approval, congratulations, triumph etc. a.k.a. 'Woohoo!'

So when someone 'Cheers' me or vice versa, that roar of approval comes to mind.

How do these random thoughts come to be in my brain? Hm.
