Yo

Decided to ripple my blog a abit, seeing as it has been stagnant for a considerable period. Life has been passing by. Nothing fantastic, nothing horrible. The days are whizzing by and exams are ever closer. I am now in the library, having another stab at late-night studying.

Anyway, enough about depressing topics. On to non-academic life.

Leicester Day was just over and we appeared on the news. We had interactive activities which were educational and involved the family. The highlight for me was the fun fair at Vicky Park tho. Me and my big mouth said 'Ha. Ya I will go if it is like 50p.' Surprise surprise. The entrance fee was 50p. Went and won, or rather, lost a patrick toy which says 'I am with the dummy -->' coz you get a small spongebob toy if you lose and some huge ugly toys if you win. Of course try to lose right. Had toffee apple for the first time in my life, coz that was 50p too. Went again today (Bank Holiday) coz it is the last day of the fun fair. Had (ahem) 2 lame attempts at the milk churn throw where we get 6 baseballs to throw into a milk churn. 1 ball win £10; 2 £20; 3 £100; 4 £200. Was pretty confident of getting at least 2 or 3 in (what is more we have been practising) but the ball just kept bounding off even though it should have gone in. I am sure the opening had metal borders which sloped in so you have to aim directly in the middle for the ball to go in. Shit man. Wasted so much money. Bloody stall. Had a go on the bumper cars where I refused to drive and let XY chauffer me. That was really fun.

I realise this entry sounds like a news report.

Ah well. More updates about things besides academic life. Been more active in volleyball, which is great. Get my exercise and feel more energetic and not so lethargic all the time. Funnily though, I seem to feel anaemic at weird times. Been more enthusiatic about going for matches and things too! Which serve as nice distractions I guess coz kinda like have more things to... live for (?) besides studying here. This June many things are happening (besides exams) meaning post-exam plans. 7th June will be a fun-filled day with many things happening. Had to cancel and rearrange things quite a bit coz everthing seemed to want to happen on that day. Will be having THE BIG LEICESTER PICNIC on that day to celebrate XY birthday. Gonna have a bbq cum potluck cum games on the daisy-sprinkled grass in Vicky Park when the sun will (I tink) set at round 10p.m. Before that, it will be sun, grass and nets at a Notts vball tournament! Also, Yelin (maybe Wing Yee) and Shuang Ning will be visiting and Yelin and XY are going for the tournament with me! Ah. What a happening day. Quite exciting.

Den it will be back to studying den off to Belfast (ryanair had free less than £5 tickets) and Cambridge den back to school den move house den back to Singapore. When will the day arrive?
